Kenya Airways (KQ) has partnered with Safaricom to make flight booking available to more than 57 million Safaricom subscribers through Safaricom's OneApp, offering customers a simpler, more convenient way to search, book and pay for travel through a platform they already use every day.

The integration enables customers to access Kenya Airways services directly within My OneApp, creating a seamless booking experience without the need to switch between multiple platforms. To celebrate the launch, customers will enjoy a 15% discount on international flights and a 10% discount on domestic flights, subject to applicable terms and conditions for journeys originating from Kenya.

Through My OneApp, customers can conveniently access Kenya Airways’ network across Africa and beyond, including connections available through the airline's codeshare partnerships and SkyTeam Alliance membership, which extends access to more than 1,000 destinations in 173 countries worldwide.

Customers will also benefit from the convenience of M-PESA, Kenya’s most preferred digital payment solution, enabling them to complete flight bookings quickly, securely and effortlessly within a single platform.

As consumers increasingly embrace digital self-service channels, the partnership represents a significant step in advancing Kenya's digital economy. It demonstrates how two homegrown brands can combine their strengths to create solutions that connect customers to opportunities, whether within Kenya, across Africa or around the world.

Beyond convenience, the collaboration also supports greater accessibility to air travel by bringing flight search, booking and payment into a digital ecosystem already used daily by millions of customers. By reducing friction in the travel-planning process, the partnership helps make travel more accessible to a broader segment of consumers while strengthening Kenya's position as a regional hub for innovation, connectivity and commerce.

Through this partnership, customers can enjoy a more connected journey, from planning and booking their travel to making payments, all within a platform designed to make everyday life easier.
