CCTV footage has captured the dramatic moment a four-man armed gang stormed a hotel in Watamu and allegedly made away with Ksh79 million in a daring robbery.
The robbery occurred on Wednesday, June 24 at around 4:37pm at Watamu Mall, in what appeared to be a meticulously coordinated operation executed in broad daylight.
Footage seen by Vantage Ke shows four masked men arriving at the premises on a single motorcycle, with all of them concealing their faces to avoid identification.
Two of the suspects immediately entered the building while the other two remained outside, acting as lookouts and monitoring the surroundings in case anything went wrong.

Once inside, the armed men reportedly pointed their guns at everyone they came across, including an elderly man in a wheelchair, who was shoved and thrown to the ground during the ordeal.
The sudden attack sparked panic inside the building as occupants scrambled in different directions in a desperate bid to escape.
Outside, one of the guards drew a pistol about a minute into the robbery and aimed it at anyone approaching the building, forcing members of the public to run for safety.
Moments later, one of the suspects exited the building carrying a bag packed with what appeared to be bundles of cash, while also clutching loose money in his hands.
He was soon followed by the second suspect, who emerged carrying bags that appeared to be filled with stolen items. The four men then regrouped, climbed onto the waiting motorcycle and prepared to flee.
As they sped away, one of the gang members fired a single shot into the air, apparently to intimidate witnesses and discourage anyone from pursuing them.
The entire raid lasted under five minutes from arrival to escape, suggesting the suspects had carefully planned the operation beforehand.
Vantage Ke has since learnt that the alleged victim is a foreign national said to be linked to the Ksh79 million fraud case, prompting speculation over whether the robbery could be connected to the ongoing investigations.
Authorities have since launched investigations into the incident, although no arrests have been announced in connection with the Watamu Mall robbery.
