The NCBA-Kenya Motor Industry Association (KMI) Motor Show is set to return to Nairobi in November, three years after the last edition brought thousands of motoring enthusiasts and more than 40 automotive partners together at Sarit Centre.
The 2026 edition will be held from November 27 to 29 at the Sarit Expo Centre, with major automotive companies including Isuzu, Mobikey, CFAO, Simba Corp, Inchcape, Tata Africa Holdings Kenya, Kingsway, Auto Express, Tireworld and ECTA Kenya Limited already confirmed to participate.
The return follows the last NCBA-KMI Motor Show held in September 2023, which attracted more than 10,000 attendees, according to NCBA's 2023 integrated report. The event also featured more than 40 automotive partners, highlighting the scale of interest in Kenya's motoring industry.
The 2026 show is expected to bring together vehicle manufacturers and distributors, automotive service providers, mobility innovators, businesses and consumers to showcase new vehicles, emerging technologies and mobility solutions.

NCBA Group Managing Director John Gachora said the event would provide an opportunity to examine changes taking place across the automotive sector while highlighting the bank's role in vehicle and equipment financing.
“The automotive sector continues to evolve, shaped by changing consumer preferences, business needs and emerging mobility solutions. Commanding over 30% market share, NCBA has played a significant role in enabling vehicle ownership and business growth across multiple sectors of the economy,” Gachora said.
“The NCBA-KMI Motor Show provides an important platform for understanding the trends shaping the future of mobility and allows us to continue supporting customers throughout their vehicle ownership journey with financing solutions tailored to their needs.”
NCBA is the title sponsor of the 2026 event and has positioned itself as a major player in Kenya's asset-financing market, providing vehicle and equipment financing to individuals, SMEs and corporates.
KMI Chairman Arvinder Reel said the association was looking to build on the public interest generated by the previous edition.
“We are excited to bring the NCBA-KMI Motor Show back and build on the strong public interest witnessed at the previous edition. This year, we are focused on creating an even stronger platform for exhibitors, partners and visitors to engage with the automotive sector, while giving the public an opportunity to explore new offerings and have meaningful conversations with industry players,” Reel said.
He added that NCBA's involvement as title sponsor reflected the importance of financing in Kenya's automotive sector.
“We are also pleased to have NCBA on board for this year’s show as the title sponsor. Our partnership reflects the important role that financing plays in supporting vehicle ownership and the wider mobility ecosystem,” Reel said.
The Motor Show will also give members of the public an opportunity to compare vehicles and mobility solutions, interact with automotive experts and explore emerging trends in the sector.
Further announcements on participating brands, exhibitors and activities are expected in the weeks leading up to the November event.
